Description of the investment:

Construction of the mechanical and biological waste water treatment plant in the Jerzmanowice – Przeginia commune was started in 2003. In 2009, the processing capacity of the plant amounted to 350 m3/24 hrs. In 2009, the 2nd and 3rd stage of expansion were started. Within the confines of both stages, INTROL performed installation and construction work, at the same time ensuring continuous waste water treatment process. As a result of the expansion, at this moment the processing capacity of the plant in Żary amounts to 750 m3/24 hrs and maximum 910 m3/24 hrs.

Scope of work:

• construction of a process building (waste water treatment plant building) with a sewage umbrella roof
• construction of a retention reservoir for treated waste water
• expanstion of the existing inter-facility networks: power and control networks, sewage
and sludge networks, water supply networks
• construction of internal sewage facilities at facility B: power, control, water supply, sewage,
ventilation and heating networks
• construction of internal process systems at facility B: raw process sewage, treated sewage,
sludge and air along with equipment installation
• conversion of internal process systems at facility A
• expansion of the power supply network
• expanstion of the transport system, roads and pavements
• construction of a waste water pumping station with a vertical grating
• construction of a mechanical waste water treatment station along with a retention reservoir
• construction of internal systems of the mechanical waste water treatment station
• installation of a new operator station and visualisation application
• installation of an electronic and CCTV system in the plant facilities
• installation of new inverters and capacitor batteries
• installation of PVC protection pipes for oxigen meters and waste water level meters
• modernization of the retention reservoir
• construction of a storm water drainage system
